Why nothing changes on your account without your approval

A note on how this industry has behaved, and the constraint we designed around it.

The bill-savings category has a reputation problem, and it earned it. Enough companies have moved customer accounts without clear consent, buried authorisations inside sign-up flows, or charged a share of "savings" that were never verified, that a healthy scepticism is now the correct default posture for anyone reading a page like this one.

The constraint

We made a decision early that costs us conversion and we are keeping it: no change is made to any account until the member reviews the specific finding and approves it in writing. Not a checkbox at sign-up. Not an authorisation that covers future actions. A specific approval for a specific change, every time.

What that means in practice

  • We show you what we found and what it is worth before we ask for anything.
  • If we find nothing, we tell you we found nothing.
  • Our fee is a flat subscription, so we are not incentivised to overstate a result.
  • You can cancel from the dashboard without talking to anyone.

If a competitor will not put those four things in writing, that is worth knowing before you hand anyone your statements.
